Tawny orange wings: Monarch Butterflies in Mexico

 Short journey
Every year between November and May, tens of thousands of Monarch Butterflies from Canada and USA migrate south on a 3000-mile journey to winter in the mountains west of Mexico City.
Witness this phenomenon with a private guided tour to the breathtaking mountains of Valle del Bravo. Enjoy the incredible experience of countless Monarchs dotting the landscape, Some even floating down to sit on our hats and shoulders!
We drive west from Mexico City for only a few hours, where we visit two different sanctuaries over the two days, where you’ll have free time to explore Valle del Bravo, declared a magical town for its outstanding beauty.
You’ll spend the night in the elegant Hotel Misión, where you can relax in the pool or spa, roam around the waterfall gardens and enjoy a great glass of wine to finish the day.
We return to Mexico City on the second day.
